The owner wanted the CX-50 to stay looking new for years without having to baby it. That came down to three goals:

Our Approach
The PPF install went smoothly, and the team still held to the same standard as every other job. No corners were cut. Every edge was wrapped as far as the panels allowed, so the film blends into the paint and is far less likely to lift over time.

What We Did
Full Front Paint Protection Film Plus All Pillars
We installed full front paint protection film on the area that takes the most abuse from gravel, bugs, and highway debris. The A-pillars, finished in piano black, were part of the original plan.
During the consultation, the owner saw how much the film could do for the delicate piano black trim. They chose to add PPF to the B-pillars and C-pillars as well, so every pillar on the vehicle is now covered.
This is a full front and pillar package, not full-body PPF. The film covers the front end and the pillars. The rest of the painted surfaces are protected with ceramic coating.
5-Year Ceramic Coating
Every painted surface not covered by film received a 5-year ceramic coating. It adds deep gloss and strong water beading. It also helps the paint resist UV, bird droppings, and road grime, making washes faster and easier. The coating does not stop rock chips. Chip protection on this vehicle comes from the film.
Glass Ceramic Coating
The glass was coated as well. Rain beads up and rolls off, visibility improves in storms, and bugs and grime come off more easily.
Ceramic Window Tint
We installed ceramic window tint throughout the vehicle, including a 70% film on the windshield. The windshield film is nearly invisible and blocks a large share of heat and UV. A visor strip across the top of the windshield adds extra heat rejection where the sun hits hardest.
